Montgomery, Billie "Rube" was born August 8, 1939 in Alton, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2015 in Balch Springs, TX.

He joined the Army and became a Radio Operator. After being discharged from the service he started a new career as a long haul truck driver, the he became the Chief of Police in Wells, TX. Then decided he needed to go back to trucking.

He became a Mason, then 32nd Scottish Riten then a Shriner. He was happiest building things, doing yard work and...

Montgomery, Billie "Rube" was born August 8, 1939 in Alton, TX and went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2015 in Balch Springs, TX.

He joined the Army and became a Radio Operator. After being discharged from the service he started a new career as a long haul truck driver, the he became the Chief of Police in Wells, TX. Then decided he needed to go back to trucking.

He became a Mason, then 32nd Scottish Riten then a Shriner. He was happiest building things, doing yard work and playing with his grandchildren. Then enjoyed his first Great Grandchild, Collin Antley. His gift of gab, his love of life and his friendship will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Troy Lee and wife Rae Montgomery and Johnny Ray Montgomery, sister, Virginia Rogers and huband Mac and Lindy Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Margo Montgomery, daughter, Janet Antley (Bryant), grandchildren, Jessica and Ashley, Tabitha Antley, Brian Johnson, great grandchildren, Collin, Sydney Antley, Jaylynn and Baily Nelson, sister in law Debbie Polston (Bobby), nephew, Ronny Rogers, niece's, Janetta Stafford, Brenda Pond and Melissa Montgomery, brother in law, H R Bourland (Dorothy) .

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2015 from 6 PM until 8PM at the funeral home. Service will be 3PM, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home in Dallas, TX.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made in Billy's name to the Scottish Rite hospital or the Shiners hospital.
