Ingeborg ("Inge") Simons was born on October 15, 1926 in Mannheim, Germany. After growing up in Germany, she met Julian ("Chuck") who was in the Army and stationed there after WWII. They were married September 27, 1952 and were married 62 years until his passing in 2014. He had several tours of duty within the US and internationally during his military career. Some of the places she lived and visited were Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Germany/Europe, Florida and Texas. Ingeborg ("Inge") Simons was born on October 15, 1926 in Mannheim, Germany. After growing up in Germany, she met Julian ("Chuck") who was in the Army and stationed there after WWII. They were married September 27, 1952 and were married 62 years until his passing in 2014. He had several tours of duty within the US and internationally during his military career. Some of the places she lived and visited were Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Germany/Europe, Florida and Texas. In the beginning, she was a housewife and homemaker and proud of raising her two sons. At a later point in life, she worked for and retired from Sears. She was a wonderful cook and loved sharing with others. She enjoyed dancing and traveling, and spending time with the many wonderful friends she had. Inge passed away on May 7, 2017 at the age of 90. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Inge is survived by son Steven, son Ronald (Ron), and two granddaughters Sandra and Angela.

The Viewing will be at the Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm located at 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228. The Burial Service will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75221. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228.
